The Inland Northwest Development Council evolved out of prior Spokane organizations that were focused on connecting grant-makers and grant-seekers, as well as providing professional development for grant-seekers and development professionals. In July of 1993 a Charter was drawn up for the Inland Northwest Development Council “to provide a structure for networking and learning.” The Inland Northwest Development Council or INDC did not incorporate or seek 501(C)(4) status, as their intent was to keep the group informal.

INDC

The INDC Calendar year consists of five bi-monthly membership meetings that begin in September and run through May of each calendar year. Dues are valid for five consecutive membership meetings. Dues are $100 for new members and $75 for renewing/lapsed members.

Meetings are generally held every other month (September, November, January, March, May).

MEETINGS

The INDC strives to provide programs and events that give fundraisers and associated professionals throughout the Inland Northwest a chance to learn and be inspired. With that in mind, each year we build a series of seminars that deal with a variety of topics and offer our members and guests the opportunity to be educated, feel supported and connect with their colleagues.

Regular INDC programs (11:30 AM to 1:00 PM) are normally on the 4th Wednesday of January, March, May, and September, and the 3rd Wednesday of November (a joint program with the Inland Northwest Planned Giving Council). Except where otherwise indicated, we meet at the Northeast Community Center from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. In addition to our regular programs, we have occasional breakfast or brown-bag lunch educational opportunities and networking events.

These programs are included with your INDC membership. Guest fees vary depending on the event.

INDC is a local resource for your fundraising and non-profit activities. We offer a regular meeting schedule (no meetings in June, July or August); networking; plus the member benefits available on this website.

Members receive a membership roster through use of this website. Members also are privy to job postings, volunteer opportunities, message board communications, and so much more.
